The following "PDF" files are to be used in Exact Listening Training Sessions when the student can consistently duplicate 15 words on the first try. Up to 15 words, the guide should use a newspaper or non-technical magazine to find phrases, as described in the Exact Listening manual. The following documents are provided to help avoid the increasingly long delays that would take place as the guide counts out the number of words before beginning a new "string."Because these files are in PDF format, you will need "Adobe Acrobat Reader" to view/print them. If you don't already have this installed on your computer, you can download it for free at http://www.adobe.com. Look for the button that says "Get Acrobat Reader."
When the student is nearing the time when he or she will be working on 16+ word strings, the guide should print the first of these documents and have it ready in the session. When the student is approaching 20 words, the guide prints the next document, and so on.
Exact instructions for using these printed strings in session are printed at the top of each document.
Additional pages with longer strings will be posted in the near future.
