Revised: 10/01/02 By applying for membership in the Exact Listening Trainer's Association, you agree to abide by these policies of the Association as they exist at the time of your application and as revised from time to time by the Association. Changes become effective upon their being posted on the Association's Web site. Members should check this page every so often for revisions. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of the page.============== Members may not make any representations regarding Exact Listening or the Association that is not contained in Association literature and recordings or on the Association Web site.
Members must make sure a Registration Form is filled out, and a Materials Fee is paid, for each student who takes the course. Anyone who is taught to act as a guide or functions as a guide in a training session in which a member of the Association is present should register for the course. If an individual only acts as a student in a training session, that individual need not register.
Members may freely copy and distribute the promotional materials for the course, including the audio recording "Why Exact Listening?" and its transcript, which is a reprint of the first chapter of the manual. Members specifically agree, however, that they will not alter the promotional material in any way except to list themselves as the contact person.
Members will not recommend anyone for membership in the Association or for certification as a Trainer who is not fully qualified, meaning that individual is fully proficient in the exercise as both guide and student and is fully capable of teaching others with no previous exposure to Exact Listening how to be an effective guide in a training session.
Individuals who no longer hold a current certificate confirming their membership in the Association and Certified Trainer status will not represent themselves as members of the Association or as Certified Trainers.
The Association may, at its sole discretion, reject any application for or renewal of membership or suspend or revoke membership at any time.
