This area of the site is provided to support members of the Exact Listening Trainers Association (ELTA) by providing documents and other information of interest to Trainers. Currently, this is limited to the forms listed below, plus the Association Policies. Other material will be added to this section in the near future.

To keep everything organized yet as simple as possible, these brief forms are provided for various types of communication to the Association. All but one of these forms are submitted to the Association by members (Certified Trainers) only. The only form submitted by non-Trainers is the Achievement Award Form, which may be submitted by Graduates who are not also Trainers.

Please note that the Registration Form and Materials Fee should be submitted for anyone who acts as a guide in an Exact Listening Training Session, even if only briefly. If someone is only acting as a student, with you as their guide, they need not register or purchase materials.

Registration Form - Use this form to register new students. It is the Trainer's responsibility to provide the form, make sure it is filled out properly, collect the Materials Fee ($19 for students in the U.S., $22 if outside the U.S.), and submit form and fee to the Association. Trainers should take the Materials Fee into account when they set their fees for teaching the course.

Achievement Award Form - This form is not required. Some younger students may appreciate having a certificate validating his/her success at repeating a string of a specified number of words. Trainers and other Graduates may use this form to request such a certificate from the Association on behalf of a student. See also Exact Listening for Kids.

Certification Form - For a graduate to become a Certified Trainer and a member of ELTA, he/she must be recommended by a current member. Use this form to recommend a graduate for certification.

Renewing Your Membership - Membership in ELTA is renewable at the first of every calendar year. Dues are $15 per year. This page links to PayPal or a printable form to renew your membership over the Web or by mail, noting any changes of address, telephone, email, etc. Upon receipt, you will be sent an updated certificate. There is also information and a link on this page for Making a Donation to ELTA.

Discount Book Order Form - Members may purchase additional manuals at a discount to have on hand for students, so the students do not have to wait for the Association to mail their manuals.
